About us
Felixstowe Harmonies is a committed group of female singers from all walks of life who share a passion for singing and music. With over 35 members, we offer a unique blend of voices and harmonies, performing music from all eras and genres. The choir has sung its way through a whole host of light classical songs, folk, rock and pop, jazz, musical theatre, and swing, in four-part harmony, with a piano accompanist or a Capella.
Run - recorded live
Under the direction of local musician and member of the Independent Society of Musicians Chandra Grover, Felixstowe Harmonies supports the local community and is active in hosting its own fundraising concerts in aid of Felixstowe charities. The concerts provide an opportunity for music lovers of all ages to come together and enjoy live performances. So if you're looking for a fun night out, come along to one of their concerts and listen to what we have to offer! See our Events page for information and dates of future concerts.
Our main aim is to create truly memorable music and provide our audiences with an enjoyable musical experience. The choir has entertained local audiences singing at many of the town’s organised events and you may have seen them out and about at the Triangle, performing for the Women in Art’s and Music Festival (WAMfest), at Art on the Prom or Landguard Fort.
"Our aim is to spread happiness through song, by inspiring
creativity and innovation, encouraging community and friendships and
striving for performance and musical excellence"

If you're looking for a choir to sing with, Felixstowe Harmonies is an extremely friendly and supportive group of singers who enjoy meeting to create music not only for themselves, but more importantly to share with others. The singers meet every Tuesday evening for rehearsals during the school term at 7.30 - 9.30 in Walton, Felixstowe and are always pushing themselves to be their best, whether they’re preparing for an event or performing onstage in front of a crowd.
